Use of the checker
The tool provides a preliminary assessment based on your answers. It does not verify a cancellation, inspect a booking, submit a claim, provide legal representation or make a binding entitlement decision. An airline, mediator or court can reach a different conclusion after reviewing evidence.
You should enter accurate information, retain supporting documents and check official sources before making a financial or travel decision. Estimates are per passenger and conditional on the facts and applicable law. Deadlines, case law and national procedures may affect a claim.
Independent choices
You can request compensation directly from the operating airline. Claim services are optional third parties with separate contracts, fees and privacy policies. We do not control their decisions, availability or payment times. The fee comparison is an example, not a quote or a guarantee.
The current AirHelp link is not an affiliate link. A future approved referral relationship must be disclosed when it is active. We do not charge for using this checker.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the sources, calculations and interface accurate, but information and services may change. Report a problem to hello@exla.dev. Do not use the site to submit unlawful content, abuse infrastructure or misrepresent another party.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. These terms do not require you to waive statutory consumer rights.
